This is Eb!

A game I played recently was Peak. It's a climbing game about being stranded on an island and getting high enough to call for help. I really admire how seamlessly their team was able to use their gameplay mechanics to describe the narrative; from obstacles to power ups and even the loading screen. It's something I hope to emulate in my games going forward. Although the game is very creative, I do have frequent problems loading in and staying in the game. I think it's impressive how much these devs were able to make so quickly but I think there should definitely be some time invested in making sure the game doesn't crash 3 times on start-up.

This term I'd like to improve my coding speed. I want to be able to make more frequent changes to my projects. I feel that my projects improve a lot after playtesting and feedback but it often takes a long time to make the changes I need. Practice will definitely help me get faster. Long turn around time also comes from over-scoping. I hope I can increase my knowledge of what's possible in Unity so I can make better decisions about game features/mechanics.
